Agenda

Kelly Dennis joined to share an overview of the AfterCare program.  The highlights include an increase in attendance, with most attendance in K and 1st grades.  However, we have not yet seen the same attendance as we did pre-COVID. The costs have not increased since 2021, but there is likely a need to raise the costs given the offsetting that the school is currently providing.

Mark Sanders shared highlights of sports and clubs at the Middle Campus.   This includes 5 fall sports and over 16 clubs and student organizations.

Charter Compliance Report

  • Alastair shared updates on our charter compliance report, including the plan to ensure fingerprinting for all staff which came up in the audit.

CCRPI Data Review

  • The committee celebrated the incredible growth on CCRPI data year-over-year and the overall achievements across nearly every domain of the data set.
  • The academic team at the elementary campus exceeded targets related to closing gaps for Black students and Economically Disadvantaged students; however, the team also noted that there is more work to be done to further narrow gaps between student subgroups.
  • The elementary campus also received "green flags" across most categories.  The one place where we received a red flag is around students with disabilities
  • The middle campus also celebrated a number of green flags across most categories related to closing gaps, including closing gaps for students with disabilities.
  • This year's results represent the strongest overall CCRPI results during this charter term.
