Call the Meeting to Order
Ruth Link-Gelles called a meeting of the Governance Committee of Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School to order on Wednesday Apr 12, 2023 at 6:33 PM.

Approve minutes from February
Rhonda Collins made a motion to approve the minutes from Governance Committee Meeting on 02-08-23.
Amber Suitt seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.

Rhonda Collins made a motion to approve the minutes from Governance Committee Meeting on 03-08-23.

The Committee discussed orientation practices, including the timing and content of orientation events for new Board members.

MyDocPort review
The Committee reviewed the new MyDocPort application which will house ANCS policy documents in the future.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.

The Committee wrapped up its review of Section 4 and determined one additional section (4.9) would be sent for legal review. The Committee also discussed wording to add to Section 5 concerning new ANCS security personnel.
