Ruth Link-Gelles called a meeting of the Governance Committee of Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School to order on Wednesday Mar 8, 2023 at 6:31 PM.

Committee reviewed the APS Student Hearing Procedure and Section 4.8 of the ANCS policy document.

Onboarding procedures
Committee discussed ways to engage new board members earlier, including encouraging them to attend Committee and Board meetings in spring of the year they are selected. A Board book will be put together for easy reference materials.
D.
Georgia General Assembly updates
Several bills based the GA House or Senate on cross-over day. An update will be given at the full Board meeting in April after the end of the legislative season.
