Call the Meeting to Order
Rhonda Collins called a meeting of the Governance Committee of Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School to order on Wednesday May 11, 2022 at 6:32 PM.

Approve Minutes
Kristi Malloy made a motion to approve the minutes from Governance Committee Meeting on 04-13-22.
Kristen Frenzel seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

Review/Reflection of 2021-2022 Committee Goals
The Committee reviewed and discussed its accomplishments for the 2021-2022 school year.

2022-2023 Planning
The Chair announced that the Committee will not meet in June. The Chair also announced that the Committee should submit feedback via email regarding the onboarding materials during the month of June.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 7:34 PM.

The Committee discussed the proposed revisions to the Attendance policy. In addition to the revisions included in redline in the agenda packet, the Committee suggested adding the legal citation for the applicable Georgia law and revising section headings for clarity. The Committee also discussed adopting APS's Student Code of Conduct in place of ANCS's current Code of Conduct. The proposed revisions for both policies will be shared with the incoming Governance Committee for a vote early next school year.
