Fund Development Report

Paige Teusink shared the year end fundraising report. As of 12/31/21, we are at $105,852.02 of the $140,000 goal. This continues to trend ahead of prior years significantly. Looking at the end of year campaigns (November and December combined) from 2020 and 2021, 2021's raise was $56,858, an increase of more than $12,000 over 2020's number.
The remainder of the fiscal year will include specific, targeted asks to lapsed donors and those in the school family who have not yet supported this year. The focus will be to try to make those pushes during the school year, rather than at the end of the fiscal year, in the hopes of connecting before families are out of school for the summer.
The committee discussed the idea of having a gratitude week in May as a way to thank all the different constituencies who have supported the school--teachers and staff, families, all donors and volunteers, community members. Susannah Darrow, Jenna Civitello and Pouya Dianat will lead a small working group to flesh out a calendar and ideas.
Susannah Darrow left.

B.

Wonderball Event

Michele Kresge updated the committee about planning for Wonderball, on 4/23/22. She is currently reaching out to Premier Events to inquire if they can host the bar and provide the liquor license for the event. Once that is confirmed the committee will begin working on the specific logistics. There has been some concern that a festival license might be required, Paige Teusink will reach out to see if that's the case and will report back to the committee.
The committee also discussed if there were any concerns with moving forward in light of the latest surge in the pandemic. The committee still feels that an outdoor event like this is very safe and agrees that planning should continue.
