Call the Meeting to Order
Kristen Frenzel called a meeting of the Governance Committee of Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School to order on Thursday Oct 3, 2019 at 8:08 AM.

Approve Minutes
Meeghan Fortson made a motion to approve minutes from the Board Governance Committee Meeting on 09-06-19 Board Governance Committee Meeting on 09-06-19.
Lee Kynes seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
II. Board Governance
A.
ANCS Policy review
We discussed the ANCS policy review process and discuss procedures for ongoing review
B.
ED annual review
We had a discussion of the ED review process and timeline for 2019-2020 review process.
III. Other Business
A.
Board Procedures
We tabled the discussion of onboarding new members and board training until the whole committee could attend. We mentioned that creating a document with board member competencies will support the nominations process.

Lee Kynes made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
Meeghan Fortson seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 8:55 AM.
