Committee will convene in a couple weeks for a recommendation to the board in December and January.

 

 

  
  B. Review Policy Sections- Discussion and Vote Vote Shannon Rutledge 15 m
   

Governance to vote on these sections now and recommend that the Board vote on these in October and we can move forward with the updates. Review and we will vote on this is October.

 

  • Sections- Student and Family Academic Program Policy (includes dress code)- please note: the cell phone/personal tech policy language and the gifted need to be discussed.

 

1/3 of policy to review for the 26-27 SY (notes indicate Sections 3 (Finance and Ops) and 5 (Personnel) completed during SY 2020-2021. Reviewed during SY 2023-2024. Next up SY 2026-2027.).  Need to determine topics and cadence for review:

  • April – review Topic and send updated policies to lawyer for review
  • May – Vote to recommend updated policies to whole board
