- Approve organizational foundational tools and policies to govern our school and operate effectively.
- Deepen our understanding of Adelante’s Emma Donnan operational state and provide any necessary support and guidance.

Call the Meeting to Order
K. Kainrath called a meeting of the board of directors of Adelante Schools to order on Thursday May 20, 2021 at 6:02 PM.

Approve Minutes
M. Staten made a motion to approve the minutes from Board Meeting on 04-15-21.
K. Branson-Hutchison seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

- Ahead from a revenue perspective
- Expenditures
Closing out the '20-21 school year
- Expenditures: Leadership team is expecting to purchase 80' large classroom screens.
- American Rescue Act ( Emma Donnan will need to submit a reopening plan SR-3)
- Funds going into staff and kids.
- Desks & Furniture.
- Equitable outcome of allocations.
- Utilizing public comment re: allocations

- Strong Cash Balance ( strong cash position)
- Early in operations
- Feedback is requested.

- Music in the Middle School: Composition made by Emma Donnan 6th -8th grade students!
Enrollment:
- SY 20-21: Total enrollment ( 387)
- ILEARN testing window is completed ( 4 weeks)
-NWEA: End of year course exams completed this week.
-Dibels: End of year couse exams completed this week.
8th Grade Celebration: 8th Grade Parade
- May 27, 2021, 4p -6p
