Each year we review our Employee Handbook with the Arnold group for any legal updates. This year's updated handbook is presented to your for your review and approval.

There are some furniture items on Discovery and HS campuses that got broken over the years and need to be disposed of. Some items were paid for by a CSP grant. We'll notify the district if they want to pick up the broken items. If not, they will be disposed of.

 
  F. Engagement Letter for consolidated Audit for 2026-2029 School Years Discuss Dmitriy Goncharov 2 m
   

Coleman and Associates CPA has been providing CPA audits for the school with no issues. All individual schools have engagement letters through 2029. The only remaining audit that needs to be done is the consolidated one. We recommend aligning all audits by signing an engagement letter with Coleman and an Associate CPA for a consolidated audit.

 
  G. Student Code of Conduct 2026-2027 Vote Julie Hemphill
   

The updated Code of Conduct is submitted for Board review and approval. Revisions
reflect current standards and expectations to ensure clarity, consistency, and
alignment with organizational values.

 
  H. Updated Preliminary Budgets for Arts/ HS Vote Dmitriy Goncharov
   

We had to prepare the updated preliminary budget for Intercoastal and HS given the enrollment adjustments. The final budget will be prepared after the 10-day count is over. We need to submit preliminary budgets to EMMA. Recommendation to approve the presented Preliminary Budgets for Arts and High School.

When we originally established our PTO, we did not include Asja Tebeau as the Global Arts PTO Treasurer.

Recommendation to approve Asja Tebeau as the Global Arts PTO treasurer.

Outreach Education has not been charging the full service rate for the past two years because the school was not in the position to afford it. Unfortunately, the cost of doing business keeps going up and Outreach Education needs to increase the rates to the current contract rates to catch up with inflation from the last three years. 
Board lawyers worked on the document and calculated the rate of the increase that is specified in the original agreement.
