Call the Meeting to Order

J. De La Garza called a meeting of the board of directors of Pathway Academy to order on Friday Oct 10, 2025 at 4:04 PM.

II. Failure to Submit Notice: Multi-Hazard Emergency Plan and Active Threat Annex

A.

Notification

Notifying the public of: 

  • The district's failure to submit of a Multi-Hazard Emergency Operation Plan. 
    • Was due to the state on October 2, 2025
  • The dates during which the Pathway Academy has not complied. 
    • Out of compliance October 3rd through the 10th.
  • The names of each member of the board of trustees and the superintendent serving in that capacity during the dates the district was not in compliance. 
    • Superintendent Dr. Thaddeus McCallister
    • Board President: Joel De La Garza
    • Treasurer: Melissa Mouton
    • Secretary: Kristi Griffin
    • Member: Tamara Farley
    • Member: Christy Weaver
    • Member: Nadia Eleda
    • Member: Timothy Green

Dr. McCallister submitted his formal apology for not meeting this deadline and shared his steps to return to compliance by October 11.

It will be submitted on October 11 through the portal. Will be available for viewing at the next board meeting.
