Item 1: Mission Statement - Proposed revision the organization's mission statement to ensure compliance with Mississippi HOUSE BILL NO. 1193 while preserving the core values of our work. Propose amending the current mission language:

From:
“We run and support public schools that are anchored in love, achievement, and antiracism.”

To:
“We run and support schools that are anchored in love, achievement, and belongingness.”

 

 

Item 2: Core Value - Proposed revision the organization's core value of "Lead for Racial Equity" to ensure compliance with Mississippi HOUSE BILL NO. 1193 while preserving the core values of our work. Propose amending the current Core Value language:
