I. Opening Items

Students will login to Google Classroom and Take their attendance.

 

ASB's Secretary will submit a list of all in attendance to the attendance office.

    Approve minutes for Student Council Meeting on November 2, 2022
  E. Review of Old Business
   

Old Business to review is to ensure each student received their updated parliamentary procedures. Ask students if they all received their student council packets in their emails and if they were able to review the PowerPoint and calendar.

 

  • Review of Carnival
  • Costume Design Club - was officially approved
  • Grade Checks have been done for student council representatives. If you have multiple Ds or any Fs you cannot serve on the student council. Your behavior and attendance also matter.
  F. Unfinished Business
   

We are still awaiting updated information from Ms. Contreras as to the following items:

  • We have not been successful in getting Fresh Start to send Vegetables for burgers. However, Ms. Contreras is happy to announce that we are moving forward with our plans for a scratch kitchen which will include fresh veggies for burgers and salad bar. Ms. Contreras will keep us posted with the approximate date of the rollout.
  • We are currently working on a meal survey that will be administered upon our return from Winter break.
  • We are currently getting estimates from vendors to completely re-do our HVAC system. This is a massive job and work may be done in waves starting this summer.
  • Bathroom mirrors: ASB has purchased some flexible mirror sheets as a temporary solution and maintenance will be installing them soon. - no new update

This is an opportunity for all of our Student Council Representatives to speak and ask questions.

  • December Event Calendar
  • The next meeting will be on January 4th
  • Astroturf is being placed out in the field
  • Encore Kids Camp will be on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, from January to March, 4:30-5:30pm.
  • The Prom venue is Etage Event Venue in Reseda, CA. (6740 Corbin Ave, Reseda, CA 91335)
  • Prom ticket prices are on $130 but with the fortune tellers, you can purchase your ticket for the November price which is $120, this offer ends on the 16th.
  • Mr. Adriaan will announce who the New Principal for the Day will be this week.
