I. Opening Items
  A. Record Attendance
   

Students will login to Google Classroom and Take their attendance.

 

ASB's Secretary will submit a list of all in attendance to the attendance office.
  B. Call the Meeting to Order
  C. Approval of the Agenda
  D. Approve Minutes
    Approve minutes for Student Council Meeting on October 7, 2022
  E. Review of Old Business
   

Old Business to review is to ensure each student received their updated parliamentary procedures. Ask students if they all received their student council packets in their emails and if they were able to review the PowerPoint and calendar.

 

  • Teams were voted on for confirmation or rejection of being formally added.
  • Have hamburger options during lunch such as tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. - Ms. Contreras stated that she will speak to Ms. Desiree.
  • Creating an open survey about what lunch choices students would want to have - Ms. Contreras still needs to look into this.
  • Fixing the room temperatures in classrooms, specifically C1 and C2 - This has been looked at Ms. Contreras will keep us updated. 
  • Bathroom mirrors: ASB has purchased some flexible mirror sheets as a temporary solution and maintenance will be installing them soon.

  • Class Advisors - Meet with their students once a month.

 
  G. New Business
   
  • Review of Carnival
  • Vote on Costume Design as a Club
  • Grade Checks have been done for student council representatives. If you have multiple Ds or any Fs you cannot serve on the student council. Your behavior and attendance also matter.
  H. Formal adoption of Costume Design as a Club
   

This includes students from the level 3 & 4 classes. Meetings will take place during class periods
  I. Important Dates
   
  • Talent Show auditions are on November 7th at 4 pm in the Theater. 
  • Fire Drill on November 9th.
  • No School on November 11th for observance of Veteran's Day.
  • Student Talent Show on November 16th, 5:30-7:30 pm. $5
  • Fall Color Festival - All-school fundraiser and "color run". Details to come.
  • Fall Break will be from November 21st through the 25th. 
  • Black Out for Ice Castles begins on November 28th.
  • Barnes & Nobel Fundraiser Event is on December 3rd.
  J. Open Floor
   

This is an opportunity for all of our Student Council Representatives to speak and ask questions. 

 
  K. Announcements
   
  • The Prom Color Scheme is dark peach, lavender, and champagne.
  • November Event Calendar 
  • The next meeting will be on December 7th
