Winter NWEA data - focus on Overman
Elizabeth shared a slideshow with Winter NWEA data for Overman.
* shared a few graphs of learners over time
* want to dig deeper into longitudinal data of learners who have been with the district for years
* did a deep dive into some learner and did an exercise with looking at the Student Profile to get information and then add some observations for moving forward
* having lots of conversations around reading and building stamina and supporting staff across all content areas
* Looking at chunking up the test for some learners to make sure they are as successful as they can be
Susan shared out an update on Dimensions since the last meeting:
* have put picture books in every classroom for learners to pick up and read if they aren't working on a chapter book of their own
* novel groups going in the 4 upper elementary classrooms
* Bingo challenge - reading focused Bingo boards for learners and classrooms to fill out and gain increased engagement in reading
