Academic Excellence Committee Committee Meeting
Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe these meetings but must be aware that although the meeting is held in public it is not a public meeting and therefore observers are not permitted to speak during the meeting itself, except during public comment.

Preliminary NWEA data
When looking at the data and running the reports out of NWEA - Maine Through Year assessment and MAP Growth tests are reported in the same form so need to dig through and separate out MAP Growth NWEA vs Maine Through Year data
Meet again in December and be able to talk more about the data once we have been able to dive into it and triangulate it.
Also need to have a discussion around whether we will continue to do both or will we transition to just doing the Maine Through Year
November board meeting - Academic Excellence share out - PreK programming
December board meeting - Academic Excellence share out - NWEA data
January - attendance focus
February/March - commitment to return numbers, intent to enroll, enrollment process and check in with lottery
In the Spring - looking at the Accuplacer data as well as data around number of learners that are in college classes, graduation data
