Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe these meetings but must be aware that although the meeting is held in public it is not a public meeting and therefore observers are not permitted to speak during the meeting itself, except during public comment.

Charter Commission check-in meeting slideshow
Susan and Elizabeth shared out this slideshow for the committee to review.
Committee had a discussion around what things are happening this summer based on data from the previous year. One example that Susan shared out our scope and sequence with all staff and the information on how they work with all staff to be sure everyone is prepared. Elizabeth shared how they use scope and sequence to develop seminars.
Committee discussed how Dimensions is going to split the literacy block into 2 smaller blocks of reading and writing instead of 1 longer block to help focus on writing due to data discrepancy that is being observed between reading and writing.

Committee looked at the self assessment that was submitted to the Charter Commission at the end of June.
The Performance Framework Form is another document that accompanies the Self Assessment each year that has details of how we are being evaluated. Ashlee will share the Performance Framework Template with the board so they are aware of all targets and details for each committee.
