Jon Goodman made a motion to approve the minutes from Special Executive Committee Meeting on 04-09-20.
Peter Scranton seconded the motion.

Update on Animo College Prep Academy Closure
Dr. Cristina de Jesus provided an update on Animo College Prep Academy's closure, including information about meetings with families, alternative placements for staff and closure procedures.

2020-21 School Year Board Calendar
Dr. Cristina de Jesus previewed proposed dates for Board meetings during the 2020-21 school year.

Update on Reopening Schools
Dr. Cristina de Jesus, Mr. Mike Lopez and Ms. Annette Gonzalez provided an update on plans to reopen school buildings pending health and safety guidance from local, county and state government agencies.

The Committee entered into closed session at approximately 3:25 p.m. to conference with labor negotiators regarding Asociación de Maestros Unidos's collective bargaining agreement.

The Committee entered into closed session at approximately 3:25 p.m. to conference with labor negotiators regarding Animo Classified Employees Association's collective bargaining agreement.

The Committee returned to open session at approximately 4:01 p.m. and reported that the Committee took no formal action during closed session.
