Z. Grihma asked for clarification of her duties on the Council, as she recently changed from being co-Vice Chairperson to Vice Chairperson. Ms. Brenner let her know that she would take on the Vice Chairperson duties every month, instead of every other month when there was another co-Vice Chairperson.

Jasmin Elhaj prsented a slideshow and information regarding cyber secruity and internet safety.  Topics included the importance of internet safety, negative effects of cyber attacks, types of and security breaches.  She also spoke about different ways people can protect themselves, their data, and their accounts, and gave tips and information on how parents can talk to their children about internet safety in general.

Ms. Brenner presented some of the scholar responses we got from the Annual Survey. Council members shared their thoughts on the information presented. 

Z. Grihma and T. Saurer mentioned that they recently stopped receiving the MMU in their email. They suggested that if other students were also experiencing that issue, it may have contributed to the low scholar response.

E. Brenner briefly spoke about how data from the Annual survey is used to improve school offerings and communication in the future.

T. Wrigley and T. Saurer welcomed new members onto the Scholar Leader Council:  Jesse Gutierrez, Jonathan Gutierrez, and Bella Gutierrez.

The next meeting of the Scholar Leadership Council meeting will be on April 9, from 2-3pm.
