Council Member Feedback and Discussion
There was no council member discussion.
III. Other Business

StudentSquare Discussion
R. MacAlpine and K. Moeller talked about issues that made StudentSquare difficult to use for scholar to scholar communication, but said they are investigating how Forums work. There was a prime concern for there to be safety oversight and some automated moderation ability needed.
The IT team is looking into GoogleGroup and GoogleChat offerings, as they may provide better safety monitoring for scholar use.
Members expressed their thoughts on smaller groups and different ways to create types of groups such as grade level, common interests, and map areas.

Review the 2023-2024 School Safety Plan
E. Brenner and council members reviewed the 2023-2024 School Safety Plan.
C.
SLC Participation
E. Brenner discussed setting goals for increasing scholar participation in the Scholar Leadership Council and creating one or more communication groups for scholar to scholar engagement.
T. Saurer suggested putting together a survey for collecting information from council members and scholars regarding the difficulties they have that keep them from attending meetings.
Members discussed the possibility of eSports in the future.
