S. Herrod called a meeting of the Parent Advisory Council Committee of Compass Charter Schools to order on Friday Nov 17, 2023 at 3:03 PM.

Approve Minutes

M. Agravante made a motion to approve the minutes from Parent Advisory Council Meeting on 09-15-23.

II. Parent Advisory Council

A.

Parent Advisory Promotional Video

There was a discussion about reaching out to parents regarding testing with a video.

 

There was a brief discussion about different ways to reach out to parents to encourage them to get involved in the Parent Advisory Council. 

B.

Reenrollment Feedback

Parents responded to questions regarding the reenrollment process at CCS.

III. Superintendent's Report

A.

PAC Items for this year

Elizabeth Brenner talked about the importance of scholar participation in assessments, and shared data on past scholar participation rates.  There was also some discussion on planning ways to increase this school year's participation in assessments.

 

Elizabeth Brenner provided a link to a document listing questions that may be asked during the upcoming Annual Planning Survey, and asked for suggestions of other questions parents would like to see in the survey.
