Call the Meeting to Order
M. Normandin called a meeting of the Development Committee of Lake George Charter School to order on Monday Nov 15, 2021 at 4:37 PM.
II. State Farm Good Neighbor Grant

Comments
State Farm unable to pursue as deadline passed. Keep as a resource for applying next school year. Relook at prior to 10/1/2022. This grant was intended for funding of Academy children to attend the Sandborn camp. To fund this school year, discussed that school could cover half overall cost. Fundraise for at least 1/4 of cost and families could provide remaining. Total cost is $190 per student. Estimated # of students is 16 so total cost $3040. Camp is 2 nights/3 days. School would contribute $1520. Remaining would be between fundraising and families.
III. Toshiba America Foundation

Application deadline is 3/1 for grades 6-12 less than $5k. Felicia will get with Noel for a combination Tech/Stem project. Need something that can a full project management analysis can be done. Felicia will bring to January meeting at least one idea for submittal for this grant for committee review. January we can start draft of application.

Motorola grant - Dr. Wade did start a process for requesting radios through Motorola. The grant funding window is open. Dr. Wade will get with Facilities and Security staff to help complete paperwork related to this grant. Planning to request 20 radios that run about $1000 each.
