Call the Meeting to Order
A. Hall called a meeting of the Whole Child Committee of Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy to order on Wednesday Feb 22, 2023 at 8:15 AM.

Staff WC/SEL Committee Report

Playground Equipment
Need to set up meeting with playground equipment people.
Budget increase to $60k.
Don't worry about moving the equipment.

Staff Retreats
Lori has information to present options to teachers and get their feedback.
Options: Cooking class @ Chef Alyssa's, Top Golf, Sparetime

Used grant money to purchase K-4 online curriculum
** Lori is working on going through this information and will work on creating the document of curriculum in tandem
Penny Wars was a success
** $1700 donated to Bright Blessings
Working on Wellness retreat (to occur in June)
Working on end of year SEL awards.
Working on SOAR for next year.
Would like to bring back more service learning next year. School wide & grade specific
**Canstruction, donation projects, stream clean up, sandwiches for Men's Shelter, partner with YMCA
