Call the Meeting to Order
Nichole Thompson called a meeting of the Governance Committee of MCCPS Board of Trustees to order on Tuesday Jul 11, 2017 at 7:14 PM.

Approve Minutes
Nichole Thompson made a motion to approve minutes.
Paul Baker seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
The draft minutes were approved pending one change to Section III. B.
II. Governance

Board Meeting Update from Retreat
Paul Baker and Nichole Thompson updated the Committee on Board composition, newly elected Board officers and Committee chairpersons.
Nichole Thompson made a recommendation for Committee members to come to the August meeting with suggestions for potential new Board members and Committee members.
Paul Baker and Nichole Thompson updated the Committee on the Board of Trustees training offsite.
