The board's most important work should be increasing opportunities and improving outcomes for students. We use academic data to monitor progress towards goals on a regular basis. The HOS defines strategy and presents data, the board monitors for success,
Fall: Are we set up for success? Winter: Is it working? Spring: Will we hit our goals? End of the year: What did we learn?
How do we ensure equity across all student groups?
Guided reflection framework: What did we learn about our instructional model? What strengths should we protect and/or scale? What gaps in our system were revealed? How will this inform hiring, professional development and curriculum decisions?
