 Diversity:  Who’s in the room?  

 Equity:  Who is trying to get into the room but can’t?  What are the barriers?

 Inclusion:  Have everyone’s ideas been heard, respected and understood?  Ask!!

 Belonging:  How do we create a culture where everyone can feel belonging?

  B. Student Presentation 25 m
   

Molly Koelewyn,from the class of 2026 will share about the Student Inclusion Club at Charter.  She will also give her community service learning project pitch.  All eighth graders participate in the capstone of the project-based curriculum in which they design a community service learning project and then execute that project in their last term at Charter. Students tackle a wide variety of topics.  Students have explored ways to tackle food insecurity, coastal flooding, sports equity, animal abuse and many more.  Molly's project explores ways to de-stigmatize learning differences so that all students feel comfortable accessing the supports they need to learn and reach their potential.
