- Kathy Ortiz reviewed the data dashboard and provided action steps for enrollment, demographics, teacher certification, and application numbers.
- Ms. Ortiz also gave a summary regarding the board retreat SWOT analysis with an overview of next steps that include:
- 3-5 year strategic plan
- A facilities assessment and plan
- Bringing new board members

Kathy Ortiz shared the YTD financials as of February 2024.

Update
Kathy Ortiz shared the FY24 private contributions and an update on the winter campaign.
Ms. Ortiz also shared the interaction with The Cohen Foundation and their upcoming visit to Bronx Arts.
V. Upcoming Events
A.
Update
Kathy Ortiz shared that an open house will be at the elementary campus on March 16th. NYS Exams will start on April 11th and end on April 19th. Spring Recess will start on April 22nd and end on April 26th. NYS Math and Science exams will start on May 8th and end on May 17th. The Jazz on the Concourse event will take place on May 23rd.
She also reminded the board that the next board meeting is on April 9th on Zoom.
Barbara Scott offered a correction to the distributed minutes for retreat activities to be stricken from the record.
