Mission:

The Mission of Brevard Academy is to prepare its students to achieve academic excellence through the Core Knowledge Sequence. Through a partnership involving students, teachers, and parents the school strives to create citizens with strong moral character and active intellectual inquiry.

Vision:

Brevard Academy: A Challenge Foundation Academy (BA-CFA) a K-8 public charter school develops and encourages motivated, intellectually curious students who are skilled in critical thinking, individual expression, and problem-solving. From their diverse backgrounds, students accept our challenge to pursue personal and academic excellence. Through this pursuit, they become confident members of their community who lead by serving others.

STORM REPAIRS-  Tim working on replacing ceiling tiles, minor damages to check those off list as complete.

ROOF REPAIRS-  Do we do repair or wait on FEMA determination?

CIVIL ENGINEER-  Report complete.  Would need to add sewage lift station and still need to determine if current lift station can handle added inflow. 

PHASE 1  REPORT-  Updated report for USDA loan

  • Electric to the Back Field - Duke offering 2 options
  • FEMA Updates
    • We will need an engineer to determine possible flood mitigation.
    • Need to provide past "maintenance" documents and photos if possible for areas to determine pre-storm condition. 
    • Need to Secure estimates for floor repairs with insurance money
  • Custodial Support- Contracted crew-  Discuss use of contracted crew for all classrooms. $6150/mth
