1. To approve the Secretary’s and Treasurer’s Reports for January 2024 and February 2024 as per the attached. 

 

Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:232.11(a), the Paul Robeson Charter School Board of Trustees acknowledges receipt of the secretary’s certification, and after review of the monthly financial report (appropriations section) certifies that, to the best of its knowledge, as of January 2024 and February 2024, no major account or fund has been over expended in violation of N.J.A.C. 6A:232.11(b), and that sufficient funds are available to meet the school’s financial obligations for the remainder of the fiscal year.

 

2. To approve the Bills/Check List from February 5, 2024 through March 19, 2024.

 

3. To approve the following payrolls:

       2/15/24 payroll $215,068.21

       2/29/24 Payroll $222,442.49

       3/15/24 payroll $217,144.30

 

4. SEMI Waiver:
      WHEREAS, N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-5.3 provides that a charter school may request a waiver of compliance with respect to the school’s participation in the Special Education Medicaid Initiative (SEMI) Program for the 2024-2025 school year; and
      WHEREAS, the Paul Robeson Charter School for The Humanities Board of Trustees desires to apply for this waiver due to the fact that it projects having fewer than 40 Medicaid eligible classified students in the 2023-2024 school year, and
      NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Paul Robeson Charter School for The Humanities  Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the School Leader to submit to the Executive County Superintendent of Schools in the County of Mercer an appropriate waiver of the requirements of N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-5.3 for the 2024-2025 school year.

 

5. FY25 Annual Budget: To approve the submission of the FY25 Annual Budget and its submission to the NJDOE.
