Whereas: The Senior Management Team has presented capital needs for land acquisition, additional classroom space, and new eating space, and
Whereas: The estimated costs for these items is $650K, and
Whereas: The financial information provided indicates adequate funds are available to meet these needs
Therefore, let it be resolved that: The Empower College Prep Governing Board approve the Senior Management Team to use up to $650K to acquire land, create additional classroom space, and develop new eating space in FY21.

Whereas: The Senior Management Team has developed and reviewed a school year calendar for SY22 based on the calendar iniitally presented for SY21 before the changes from COVID, and
Whereas: This calendar needs to be approved by the Board and submitted in order for the school's online registration system to begin, and
Whereas: Families are expressing interest in enrolling for the upcoming year.
Therefore, let it be resolved that the Empower College Prep Governing Board approve the SY22 Calendar as submitted.
