Whereas: Empower College Prep (ECP) is applying for the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority(AZSTA) Biennial Grant, and Whereas: AZSTA requires organizations to contribute at least 1/3 of the total project value, and Whereas: AZSTA will contribute a maximum of $250,000 toward a project, and Whereas: ECP is proposing a project with a value of $425,000, which if granted would result in receiving $250,000 from AZSTA and ECP being required to contribute $175,000. Therefore, let it be resolved that: Empower College Prep's Governing Board hereby commits to contribute the 1/3 portion, up to $175,000, if the school is granted the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority Biennial Grant, and The project, as approved, shall be completed within twelve months of the execution of the Funding Agreement between ECP and AZSTA. |
