Whereas: Empower College Prep's Senior Management Team has reviewed and proposed for adoption additional sex ed curricula from North Star Youth Partnership for middle school called "Positive Potential" and for high school called "Choosing the Best Journey," and
Whereas: Per state law, this curriculum has been available for review by the Board and public in the front office more than 60 days, and
Whereas: The Senior Management Team has received only positive and no negative comments or concers regarding the adoption of the curriculum.
Therefore, let it be resolved that Empower College Prep's Governing Board adopt the additional sex ed curriculum from North Star Youth Partnership for middle school called "Positive Potential" and for high school called "Choosing the Best Journey." |
