Call the Meeting to Order
D. Small called a meeting of the Facility Committee of Butler Academy to order on Thursday Jan 29, 2026 at 7:24 PM.

Approve Minutes
D. Small made a motion to approve the minutes from December 2025 Facility Committee Meeting on 12-18-25.
A. Rhodes seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.

Discuss Action Items and Assign Tasks
Ask Dr. Reyes to send an email to get the specs needed for the building. How many classrooms, etc. It might have been as many as eight classrooms for both 9th and 10th grade. Also, what is the budget then present ideas of options within that budget. How big is the lot that we have to fit the modules.
Ask Amy to email with the update from her conversation with Carolina Elementary.
Another meeting to assign tasks with the entire committee and Dr. Reyes to provide specs.

Schedule Monthly Spring Meetings
Email the committee to schedule our next meeting. Possibly 7:30pm or an 8am or 8:30am on Tuesday and Thursday.

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 7:46 PM.

We are looking at the list of 4 Modular Companies. We need an update about Carolina Elementary to add to the discussion. Dr. Reyes would like for us to have a report for the board before the March meeting. Hopefully at the end of February.
Dr. Reyes also mentioned a conversation with St. Joseph's vacant school on Washington St. also be considered as a possibility.
