Mr. Brenton DeFlitch, 9-12 Principal on the Delano campus presented the revised elective credit requirements for consideration. The proposed elective requirements (220 credits) would still be significantly higher than the state required (130 credits) for high school graduation.

Action Item: Approval of Resolution No. 2022/23-17 for the Submission of the California Schools Healthy Air, Plumbing, and Efficiency Ventilation Program (CalSHAPE) Grant Proposal for Wonderful College Prep Academy - Lost Hills
Marcus Morillo, Chief Facilities Officer, presented the request for approval to apply for funding through the California Schools Healthy Air, Plumbing, and Efficiency Ventilation Program (CalSHAPE). The Academy plans to apply for funding to participate in this program to replace HVAC (MERV-13) filters, purchase CO2 monitors, provide remote access to monitor and control classroom HVAC temperature levels for the Lost Hills campus. The program will also include funds to assess all currently installed HVAC units for optimal efficiency.

Lupe Sanchez presented an update on the Wonderful College Prep Academy (Delano Campus) Charter Material Revision. Marcus Morillo presented a transportation update on the purchase of the school buses and the COVID-19 masking and vaccination update. Ivan Ceballos and Audrey Ledesma coaches for the Delano campus L.E.G.O Robotics Team presented an update of the recent competition.
