Chief Business Officer Mike Romero presented the updated monthly business report for the December 2025 Lost Hills Campus.

Action Item: Approval of Agreement No.2025/26-12 between WCPA and Young, Minney & Corr, LLP (YM&C) for Legal Services
Mr. Romero presented the agreement with Young, Minney & Corr, LLP for as-needed legal services at the request of WCPA leadership or the Board. The agreement will begin upon Board approval and may be terminated by WCPA at any time with written notice.

Mr. Romero presented an update to the Board of the progress and next steps for the Allspring Money Market Account. The Board of Directors asked Mr. Romero to move forward at the next regular meeting with providing the items neccessary to move forward with the Board Investment Committee.

Action Item: Approval of 2024-25 School Accountability Report Cards (SARC) – Delano & Lost Hills
Chief Engagement and Partnerships Officer Lupe Sanchez presented this item to the Board for approval, noting that under Proposition 98, passed in 1988, California public schools are required to prepare and share annual School Accountability Report Cards (SARCs) to provide transparency and report on school progress. The Academy seeks Board approval of this year's SARC.

Mr. Romero presented to the Board that Wonderful College Prep Academy ("WCPA") seeks approval of its Policy on Referral Protocols for Addressing Pupil Behavioral Health Concerns for WCPA Delano and WCPA Lost Hills. The Policy outlines procedures for identifying, referring, and supporting students with behavioral health concerns, was developed in consultation with school and community stakeholders, and is based on the model protocols issued by the California Department of Education.

Information Item: Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Progress Report Update - Delano
Ms. Sanchez reported to the Board that the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Progress Report was submitted on February 2, 2026, and will be followed by a one-day virtual visit on March 17, 2026. A WASC report will be provided after the visit and will outline commendations and areas for growth. WCPA's WASC accreditation remains valid through June 30, 2028.

Information Item: Wonderful College Prep Academy Charter Renewal for Fall 2026 - Delano
Ms. Sanchez presented to the Board that the charter petition between Wonderful College Prep Academy and Kern County Superintendent of Schools is in the process of renewal for the submission in the Fall of 2026. The Charter Petition defines the school's mission, governance, accountability, and legal authority to operate and was last revised in March 2023.
