N. Maldonado made a motion to Adopt the anti-racist policy and standards to being rolling out during the 2023-2024 school year and provide KIPP SoCal management the authority to update as needed.

H. Lord made a motion to Approve the updated KIPP Philosophers Academy: School Improvement Plan.

Carlisle made a motion to Authorize Board President Luis Rodriguez to sign the Compliance Monitoring and Certification of Board Compliance Review for KIPP Academy of Innovation, KIPP Academy of Opportunity, KIPP Comienza Community Preparatory, KIPP Corazon Academy, KIPP Empower Academy, KIPP Endeavor College Prep, KIPP Generations Academy, KIPP Iluminar Academy, KIPP Ignite Academy, KIPP Los Angeles College Preparatory, KIPP Philosophers Academy, KIPP Promesa Preparatory, KIPP Raices Academy, KIPP Scholar Academy, KIPP Sol Academy, KIPP Pueblo Unido, and KIPP Vida Preparatory.

Grade Levels Served by KIPP Pueblo Unido
H. Lord made a motion to Authorize KIPP SoCal to request a material revision of KIPP Pueblo Unido's charter that will reduce the grade levels served from TK-8 to TK-4, reduce enrollment capacity from 1,050 students to 560 students, and update the school's enrollment projections accordingly.
R. Bishop seconded the motion.

Audit Committee: FY22 Audit
R. Bishop made a motion to Vote and approve and accept the attached audit of the consolidated financial statements of KIPP SoCal Public Schools for FY 2021-22.

V. Finance
A.
FY23 Budget Revision
E. Kavounas made a motion to Vote to approve the revised 2022-23 budget for KIPP SoCal Public Schools.
H. Lord seconded the motion.

B.
PNC Line of Credit Amendment
E. Kavounas made a motion to Approve KLARE Holdings to negotiate and enter into an amendment of the PNC line of credit.
M. Carlisle seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.
C.
Finance Committee: 1st Interim Financial Reports (LAUSD)
R. Bishop made a motion to Acknowledge the receipt of the FY 2022-23 1st Interim Reports for the mentioned schools as well as the opportunity to discuss the reports and financial results with KIPP SoCal management.
H. Lord seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.
