COVID-19 Updates
No major updates to report. Tomorrow is the last day of the first quarter. No major outbreaks, so no news to report.
RSV is relevant for Children Under 5 and Seniors over 65.
Input taken seriously and the process to submit Covid testing before returning on 11/28/2022, has been established. Tests will be handed out for testing to be completed by all staff members upon return from the upcoming Holiday break.
Board provided recent update regarding the current Covid/RSV status:
- One test can be provided for Flu, RSV and Covid.
- District 9, lost 2 4yrs old due to RSV.
V. Academic Committee Report

Academic Committee Report
Interim Assessment completed for the 1st Quarter.
Scoring results were shared with the Board.
25% of 9th Graders are from 8th Grade and they did fairly well.
New freshman 9th Graders are struggling to keep up. Many of these students came in with little to no data, no test scores or key data points.
Tier 2 and Tier 3 Intervention will be offered to support scholars and staff.
Teachers who scored 40% or below will be provided additional support.
7th Grade Math teacher scored 36% students passing, we will provide additional support twice a week, instead of once a week with a 6 week window expected time for improvement.
Teachers 41% - 60% will receive additional support as well.
ELA from Grades 4-8, date provided promising numbers.
Board would prefer data with additional details.
3rd Grade ELA have the most growth, attributed to first time taking a standardized test.
High School results will be prepared for discussion at the next Board Meeting.
Board requested detail information regarding the Teachers who will be placed on performance planning assignments.

Finance Meeting was brief and straight forward.
Financial reconciliation in progress for a future budget amendment.
Shift of investment funds were approved and processed.
Three Audits completed with no findings.
