Call the Meeting to Order

Thomas Jenkins called a meeting of the board of directors of Bridgeport School District to order on Monday Jul 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM.

Approve Minutes

Wayne van Zwoll made a motion to approve the minutes from Board Meeting on 06-25-26.
Paul Ebreo seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

Hire

Kathy Corbin made a motion to hire David Greer (bus driver).
Wayne van Zwoll seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

A.

Back to School Supplies

Raelynn Dezellem announced that the district will provide school supplies grades TK-4 for the upcoming school year. Students will receive a backpack (including supplies) during the Open House planned for Tuesday, August 25th 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Water Shares

Director Van Zwoll presented a proposal for the district to relinquish three water shares to the Bridgeport Irrigation District. The district currently holds eleven water shares associated with a school farm parcel. Three of these shares are not being utilized, as they are tied to a hillside area that is unsuitable for irrigation and is not expected to require irrigation in the future.

Property Irrigation

Kathy Corbin made a motion to approve the relinquishment of three district water shares associated with the hillside adjacent to the school farm to the Bridgeport Irrigation District.
Paul Ebreo seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

B.

Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement - Processed USDA Foods

Paul Ebreo made a motion to approve Contract No. 2526-03 an Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement (for processed USDA foods) with the Battle Ground School District No. 119.
Wayne van Zwoll seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

Resolution No. 524: Adoption of 2026-27 District Budget

Paul Ebreo made a motion to approve Resolution No. 524: Adoption of the 2026-27 District Budget.
Kathy Corbin seconded the motion.
The board VOTED to approve the motion.

July 2026 Accounts Payable and Payroll

Paul Ebreo made a motion to approve the July 2026 Accounts Payable and Payroll as presented.
Wayne van Zwoll seconded the motion.

The following vouchers as audited by the auditing officer, as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified, as required by RCW 42.24.090, are approved for payment. In addition, payroll warrants in the amount of $868,874.91 are approved.
