2026-27 Minimum Basic Education Requirements Collection
Mr. Sattler presented the 2026-27 Minimum Basic Education Requirements Survey. The report was recently submitted to the OSPI. The Bridgeport School District complies with all basic education requirements for the 2026-27 school year.

District Goals: BSD Strategic Plan Goals
Mr. Sattler presented the 2025-2028 BSD Strategic Plan and reviewed the current district goals. He encouraged board directors to identify other areas of need and/or additional annual goals.

The following vouchers as audited by the auditing officer, as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified, as required by RCW 42.24.090, are approved for payment. In addition, payroll warrants in the amount of $1,028,228.14 are approved.

Raelynn Dezellem provided a brief status report about the 2026 summer school program. The district is sponsoring 4 classrooms (K-1, 2-3, 4-5, and grades 6-8). Approximately 60 students are attending the program, June 15 - July 9th.
Two Fieldtrips are planned:
June 25 - Movie in Omak, Toy Story 5
July 7 - Winthrop (Museum, book store, ice cream shop)
Incentive program: students earn an ice cream cone redeemable at the Plaza if they attend Mon-Thur each week. Students also patronize the Bridgeport branch of the NCW Library weekly during the summer school program.
