Call the Meeting to Order
L. Davis called a meeting of the Governance Committee of Libertas Academy Charter School to order on Tuesday Nov 3, 2020 at 9:30 AM.

Approve Minutes
L. Davis made a motion to approve the minutes from Governance Committee Meeting on 10-01-20.
S. Williams seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED to approve the motion.
II. Governance
A.
Board Training Ideas & Next Steps
Discussion surrounded what type of board training would be most beneficial and worthwhile for the group. The committee reviewed the resources on BoardOnTrack, focussing on Fundraising. SW suggested break-out sessions during one of our Board meetings. Lauren to discuss with MM and report back on a direction.
B.
Recruitment Update
We are in a good position with prospective Trustees!! Laurie Flynn to join our November meeting as our 3rd prospective Trustee to onboard in January.
C.
Set Calendar for Dec GC Meeting
Our next meeting is scheduled for Dec 3 at 9 am.
