Current Terms - What next?

Good afternoon,

UWPV is once again hosting our OnBoard event on December 12th from 5:00-7:00pm in Tower Square. We would love to invite your nonprofit organization to attend!

What is the purpose of this event?

The event will be a chance for nonprofits seeking board members to connect with and network with community individuals interested in board service. UWPV will be collecting resumes from all individuals who attend the event. We will be conducting informational chats with individuals in order to understand what they are looking for in board service. We will then be matching and introducing these individuals to nonprofits whose needs align.

This event is a kick-off to a continual funnel of board connections. It’s a chance to meet and mingle, however we will connect interested parties throughout the year as those seeking board service connect with us.

What’s in it for your nonprofit?

1. By attending the event you are showing you are interested in leadership development. UWPV will be raffling off $2,500 to one nonprofit. All your organization needs to do is attend the event to be entered to win.
2. 15 minute consultation with UWPV staff to better understand your board needs and send you aligned candidates
3. Excellent agency exposure to leaders in the community
4. A chance to recruit board members and talk about all other volunteer opportunities
5. A fun evening with catered food and drinks from White Lion Brewery
6. Networking among colleagues

Registering is $50 for a nonprofit with a budget of under $500,000 per year, and $100 for a nonprofit with a budget of $500,000 or more per year. If you cannot afford the registration fee, please email me directly. Registering will get you a table, linen and 2 chairs for your organization.
