Overview of Progress Towards Goals for SY 19-20
We are required to have goals as a charter around our design principles. In our original charter, we had a set of goals. For our charter renewal we revised these individualized accountability goals. These goals are in addition to the state goals that are set around achievement and attendance for every school in the state. We set a goal for our renewed charter two years ago around our three design principles: (1) high expectations and relentless support for every scholar, (2) scholarly habits for all students, (3) coaching and professional development for teachers that drives student achievement. One of our goals around developing scholarly habits is for 75% of students to meet. We set this goal because we think it is an important habit and an indicator of student engagement. Our HW goal is to have 75% or higher homework completion by the end of the year HW. For ELA, we are on track for this goal. The ELA HW average is 82%. For math, we are on track for this goal. Our HW percentage for math is 83%. A second goal around scholarly habits was for there to be fewer than 20% of students receive out of class referrals on average per month. We have really ensured in our PD and in coaching teachers have a lot of tools to keep students in class. Our culture team has really worked to ensure students who are struggling are also getting more proactive supports. Our third design principle is around coaching and professional development for teachers that drives student achievement. Our last goal is that 90% of teachers report that coaching and professional development are helping them to drive student achievement. Right now 87% from our weekly survey say that this is true.

Deep Dive into MCAS SubGroup Data
We each logged into the ESE profiles site for Veritas and looked at our subgroup results for students with disabilities and for English language learners. We increased the number of targets we met for students with disabilities from 2018 to 2019. We are in the 46th percentile in the state for students with disabilities. We met most of our targets for ELLs, except for absolute achievement in ELA. We are in the 82nd percentile in the state for English language learners.

Weekly Data Meetings and Coaching Framework
When we were discussing our accountability goals that we set for ourselves, we discussed how we are expanding our coaching capacity in the school this year with an additional full time coach and the continuation of our coaching program.
