Call the Meeting to Order
A. Mendelson called a meeting of the Governance Committee of Veritas Preparatory Charter School to order on Thursday Oct 4, 2018 at 8:15 AM.

Approve Minutes
Revise attendance - aaron and charlie were absent
A. Mendelson made a motion to approve minutes from the Governance Committee Meeting on 09-06-18 Governance Committee Meeting on 09-06-18.
T. Moran seconded the motion.
The committee VOTED unanimously to approve the motion.
II. Governance
A.
Strategic Retreat Planning
The committee is interested in hiring a consultant to help us lead the process of strategic planning. Charlie is going explore some people and Rachel is going to ask the consultants who did the MCPSA plan for a proposals.
B.
Bylaws
We will revise the bylaws to reflect decisions made at the 9/6 meeting.

Recruitment of new trustees
