PUBLIC NOTICE:
Pursuant to emergency proclamation 30-JCE 2020, the Rooted School New Orleans Board hereby certifies that it will conduct all meetings scheduled for 2025 - 2026, in person (unless otherwise designated), at 6701 Press Dr. in the College of Education Building & Human Development on SUNO's campus in the Social Hall (Room 106) on the 1st Floor.
Board meetings shall be held in this manner until further notice.

PUBLIC BUDGET MEETING PRE-WORK - Budget & Enrollment Update & Overview
Joe Daschbach of EdOps presented on:
1. Current state of the FY 2025 - 2026 budget with a specific overview on both Q3 & Q4.
- Projected enrollment reflects 2/1 count of 139 students.
- The updated forecast is flat relative to December projections.
- June 2026 days of cash forecast is 204 days of cash-on-hand.
- The revised forecast projects a cash surplus of ~$28,000.
- Revenue projections include student level differentiated funding
- Expenditure projections reflect a revised end of year forecast based on actual YTD spending through March 2026.
- End-of-year MFP is expected to remain constant from NOLA-PS.
- End-of-year projections assume Q3 trends to continue
- Grant funds are expected to be fully drawn down by June.
2. Public Budget Hearing Pre-Work - Initial review of 2026 - 2027 budget w/analysis.

Executive Director, Kaitlin Karpinski, work-shopped the Financial Disclosure Notification process required for All Board of Directors.

BOARD APPROVAL OF AMENDMENTS & UPDATES TO THE 2026 - 2027 BOARD OF DIRECTORS BYLAWS
The Board will vote to approve all edits, amendments and updates to the 2026 - 2027 Rooted School Board of Directors Bylaws - [Attorney Reviewed by Adams & Reese].
*Articles of Incorporation including Kaitlin Karpinski's name to be included in the amended document.
Jamiri Flint also voted Aye for this motion.
