B. Call the Meeting to Order

J. Greenberg called a meeting of the board of directors of Beatrice Mayes Institute to order on Tuesday Sep 22, 2026 at 6:33 PM.

C. Approve Minutes

G. Thomas made a motion to approve the minutes from WEEA Board Meeting on 08-25-26.

B. Gilbert seconded the motion.

The board VOTED to approve the motion.

II. Finance

A. Finance Report

- Gene Zhu provided Charter First Public Presentation and presented to the board members.

- August 2026 financials discussed and praised for great fiscal year.

- Audit agenda and update provided.

III. Academic Excellence Committee & Strategic Plan

A. Academic Excellence

- Ms. D. Johnson presented School Accountability Report in detail.

- Update provided to board members on steps taken to appeal current accountability score.

- Current enrollment numbers discussed as well as strategies to increase enrollmemt.

- Strategies to help improve accountability for current school year metioned.

IV. Closing Items

A. Adjourn Meeting

There being no further business to be transacted, and upon motion duly made, seconded and approved, the meeting was adjourned at 7:39 PM.
