C. Simmons called a meeting of the board of directors of Green Dot Public Schools Tennessee to order on Thursday May 25, 2023 at 4:04 PM.

IV. GDPST Strategic Priorities Updates

A.

GDPST Finance Update (FY23 Q3 Forecast)

J. Orozco led the GDPST Finance Update (FY23 Q3 Forecast). 

 

GDPS TN’s fiscal year ending June 30, 2023 has a forecasted net income of $1.4M which is $0.2M lower than the Budget Contingency.

B.

Engaged Parents and Community Enrollment Update

M. Utley led the Engaged Parents and Community Enrollment Update.

 

Enrollment Comparison between 22 - 23 SY (June 10th) and 23 - 24 SY (May 25th). 

C.

Development Update

D. Weston led the Development Update. 

 

Development continues to focus on core support for current programs at all five schools, while also advancing three strategies to provide students additional opportunities:

 

  • CTE Workforce Development/ Mentorship
  • Music Programs
  • Bluff City Gym

D.

Mission Moment

M. Utley led the Mission Moment. 

 

Highlighted Decision Day and STEM Day.
