Mission Moment
Highlighted the athletic success of Kirby Middle School. The boys' basketball team is currently ranked number 4 in the state and the girls' basketball team is ranked number 5 in the state.

III. Strategic Priorities Updates
A.
Strategic Priority Updates
Executive Director Jocquell Rodgers gave the GDPST Board of Directors an update regarding Fairley's re-authorization application with MSCS. Executive Director Rodgers highlighted that Fairley was recently toured by MSCS board member Kevin Woods and that the interview with MSCS is on Wednesday, March 8th.

College-Ready Learners: Academics Update
GDPST Director of Academics Jasmine Jackson presented the 2023 student testing calendar.

Enrollment Update
GDPST Chief of Staff Marysa Utley presented the GDPST Board of Directors with a 23-24 student enrollment update and discussed the upcoming March Madness Enrollment competition.
D.
Finance Updates
GDPST Director of Finance Jovan Orozco presented the GDPST Board of Directors with the financial update for GDPSN (Executive Summary) and GDPST.
E.
Hiring and Retention Update
GDPST Chief Talent Officer presented the GDPST Board of Directors with a hiring update that included retention rates, a recruitment plan, an updated hiring process, and current candidates in the candidate pool.

Development Update
GDPSN Development Team representative Cecilia Walker presented the GDPST Board of Directors with a development update. The development update included fundraising, individual giving, and partnership updates. The presentation also highlighted the recent Slingshot tour at Wooddale Middle School and Fairley High School.

Board Next Steps
Based on the feedback from the GDPST Board of Directors the GDPST Board retreat date has been changed to April 29, 2023.

Anticipated Litigation, Public Employee Discipline/Dismissal Release
GDPST Board of Directors entered a closed session at 5:11 pm and exited a closed session at 5:30 pm. No action needs to be taken.
