L. Neal called a meeting of the board of directors of Green Dot Public Schools Tennessee to order on Wednesday Mar 11, 2020 at 4:02 PM.

Minutes from January 22, 2020 GDPST Board of Directors meeting
L. Neal made a motion to approve the minutes from Board Meeting on 01-22-20.
C. Simmons seconded the motion.

2020-2021 School Calendar
L. Neal made a motion to approve 2020-2021 School Calendar.
C. Simmons seconded the motion.

III. GDPST Financials
A.
Quarter 2 Finances
Mr. Penaranda updated the Board on GDPS' Quarter 2 financials, including GDPS Tennessee's YTD net income and FY20 Q2 forecasted net income, GDPS Tennessee's enrollment as it pertains to budgeted enrollment, and overall financial sustainability and performance.

Development Updates
Ms. Walker updated the Board on pending grant applications, individual donor strategies and GDPS Tennessee's upcoming instrument drive.
V. GDPST Leadership Team Updates
A.
Engaged Parents & Community: Enrollment
Mrs. Rodgers updated the board on GDPS Tennessee's enrollment strategy, including anticipated challenges and strategy updates. Mr. Penaranda informed the Board of GDPS Tennessee's enrollment targets for 2020-2021.
B.
High Quality, Replicable Model: Coronavirus
Dr. Quaile and Mr. Penaranda updated the Board on GDPS Tennessee's strategies to proactively prepare for the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
VI. GDPST Board Business
A.
Advocacy Updates
Dr. Quaile updated the Board on GDPS Tennessee's current advocacy efforts and pending legislation during Tennessee's 111th General Assembly.
B.
Board Committees & Board Recruitment
Chair Neal informed the Board that a discussion regarding Board Committees and Board Recruitment will take place during the next Board meeting.

The Board entered Closed Session at 5:29 p.m.
