We all shared a goal for this year (personal or professional)

1. Define "academic excellence"

Academic Excellence means
-finding ways to push students to reach or exceed their full capacity; build on their strengths 
-Diamond- pushing students to becoming high performers and high achievers, also for myself on how to do that, this includes critical thinking skills, real life
-Babb- student progression not regression; IEP/Holdovers on grade level; students taking charge of their growth and goal setting; celebrating and identifying what they need to work on
- Cristy- impact of devices on language and interpersonal skills; development of  defending their thinking orally writing, drawing- in all content areas, listening and speaking skills
-Gibson- enrichment can help in so many ways with critical thinking skills; making sure we provide quality enrichment 
 

2.  We looked at iReady (EOY data) to name some possible areas for goal setting:

Make sure to dissect state scores and have goals prior to the next AE meeting
