  • E. Farley, Master Teacher for Team Tubman has announced she will not return to TNAACS next year
  • Next Step is for the Leadership Team to come up with a succession plan and explore internal candidates
  • Concern is if it is necessary/financially viable to hire a MT for this team given current Kindergarten enrollment projections


 
  B. TNAACS Lottery and Registration Update
   
  • On April 4th we held our lottery and accepted 225 students in total.
  • As of April 14, 2019 the following registrations have been completed:
    • Kindergarten: 26 completed 
    • 1st grade: 4 completed 
    • 2nd grade: 0 completed
    • 3rd grade: 6 completed
    • 4th grade: 5 completed
    • 5th grade: 0 completed
  • We have sent out a Vanguard mailing in insure additional applicants.

 Scheduling potential Board Member Interviews
  • We need to schedule phone interviews for A. Sadr-Kiani and H. Sparks. I have reached out to them for their availability
  • We need to reach out to Hamilton Raymond from Medgar Evers to see if they would be willing to be a Board Member. I will be working on this with L. Watkins

  • Need to discuss formation of Committees
  • Need to schedule Committee Meetings
V. Other
  A. NYSED Visit from Kimberly Santiago
   

Kimberly Santiago will be visiting TNAACS in May after the NYS math exams
She will visit on May 28th or May 31st
