Mr. Silverstein noted that airbnb and other such home rental services were illegal in certain places, including Los Angeles.  Based on online research, it appears that such rentals are legal in Las Vegas.  In the future, staff should ensure that any rental properties used be legal, and have all necessary insurance and safety requirements met.
